Collective Mending - Julia Wilson

Join us, Saturday, May 10, 11am-1pm, for a Happening with 2025 Visiting Artist Julia Wilson. The artist will introduce Collective Mending, a project that applies the textile practices of weaving to mend an area of disturbed open woodland. Julia will introduce us to weaving plant matter and examples of textile mending, followed by an invitation to hand-broadcast a special seed mix on the project site.
11am-noon (Studio on the Hilltop): Meet the artist and learn about weaving and mending
Noon-1pm (Hilltop overlooking the Hilltop House): Sow seeds with the artist on the project site
